This is a hand carved sculpture of a female cobbler commissioned for inclusion in a remarkable collection of cobbler sculptures gathered from all over the world over some 30 years. The collector had seen and liked my work and urged me to create a cobbler figure in my style - thus a female cobbler sewing a ballet shoe.
