The Kiss

Quebec Soapstone

I greatly admire Brancussi's famous sculpture "The Kiss", but have felt that it needed more gender definition! This piece was initiated in a soapstone sculpture class taught by sculptor Sandy Cline at the Haliburton School of the Arts.

Sculpture: 6"w x 3"d x 12"h
Base: Slate slab, attached, 11.5"w x 8"d
