Mother and Child

Alabaster

This stylized sculpture was carved from Alabaster mined in Mexico, and initiated during a four week sculpture course at the Haliburton School of the Arts, under the tutelage of sculptor Douglas Stephens.

The mother and child theme is clearly my favourite, and no doubt relates to my obstetrical career background.
