Mermaid

At my last visit to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, I had intended to eat, drink, party and loaf like a typical tourist, but by my second day I was back in my old studio with the Rangel-Gomez brothers and created this piece. It was cast in solid bronze from a wax figure and was inspired by a painting in our SMA bedroom of a mermaid diving into the sea.
